Why mindfulness

Why we need mindfulness now more than ever

Modern life is faster, louder and lonelier than it used to be. Here are the three biggest reasons, according to recent research.

  1. 41%of employees worldwide feel a lot of stress on a given day

Source: Gallup, State of the Global Workplace 2025

  2. 47%of our waking hours, the mind is somewhere else

Source: Killingsworth & Gilbert, Science (2010)

  3. 1/6people worldwide are affected by loneliness

The solution

Four core practices at the heart of what we do

Every program is built on these four main practices, alongside many other activities.

  • A group sitting with eyes closed, one hand on the chest and one on the belly, breathing slowly.

    Gauranga Breathing

Slow, guided breathing with the Gauranga mantra, to relax the body and bring the mind back to the present moment.

  • A circle singing with a harmonium and a guitar by candlelight, beside painted mantra banners.

    Yoga Music Meditation

Call and response mantra singing with harmonium and guitar. One voice sings, the circle sings it back, with no experience or singing voice needed.

  • People lying on mats with eye masks in a softly lit room, resting.

    Yoga Nidra

A guided deep relaxation, lying down, that takes the body into rest while the mind stays gently aware.

  • A circle of people meditating in a dark room lit only by candles and string lights.

    Mindfulness Meditation

Sitting quietly and noticing breath, body and thoughts without judging them, a skill you carry into every part of your day.

And more: singing bowls, Qigong, sharing circles, mindful movement and art.

We offer

Who it is for

Each program is designed around a different need — for companies, for retreats and resorts, for the community, and just for you.

  • For companies

    Mindful team building

Instead of the old-school team building most staff don’t want to join but can’t say no to — the relaxing day that turns into an exhausting trip. It’s time to change: a few hours of breath, yoga music meditation, movement and art to create a deeper connection within the team.

  • For retreats & resorts

    Moments your guests carry home

We tailor and plan a different set of activities for each retreat, resort or studio — yoga music meditation, breathwork, singing bowls, sharing circles — so your guests leave with a deep experience they can truly feel.

  • For the community

    Enlightened Heart

Our weekly circle in Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and on Zoom: breathwork, mindfulness meditation and yoga music meditation, then a vegetarian dinner and new friends. By donation, open to everyone.

Da Nang classes are by RSVP only.

  • For you

    6-week private program

One to one, with an approach designed around your situation — stress, sleep, a big life change, or simply wanting a steady practice of your own.

Q&A

Questions people ask

  • I have never meditated. Can I still come?

Yes. No meditation experience needed — just come as you are.

Most people at their first session are in exactly the same position. The evening is led from start to finish; you are not left to work it out.

  • What if I can’t sing?

That is fine. In yoga music meditation one voice sings a short line and the circle sings it back. The lines are simple and they repeat.

Nobody sings alone, and nobody is listening to judge. If you would rather just sit and listen, that is fine too.

  • What is the mantra?

The one we sing most is: Gauranga / Gopala Govinda Rama Madana Mohana.

They are names, in Sanskrit. You do not need to know the language — you sing back the line you just heard.

  • Is this religious?

The practice comes from the bhakti yoga tradition, and we say so openly.

The sessions are open to anyone. There is no lecture, and nobody asks you to believe or join anything.

  • Is there a fee?

For community events, we offer 50,000 VND per session, including a vegan dinner, in both Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.

Join us and experience it yourself.
