About

A different kind of team building

Most team building asks people to perform. Ours asks them to slow down — and that is where teams actually change.

Your team does not need another quiz night or obstacle course. It needs a few hours where nobody is checking a phone, nobody is being ranked, and the loudest voice in the meeting sits in the same circle as last week’s new hire.

We build that time from breath, movement, mindful games, art and yoga music meditation, and close it with a shared vegetarian meal. It is simple on purpose: when the pressure to perform drops away, people start listening — to themselves and to each other.

And it does not end at the venue. Everyone leaves with a few practices that take two minutes at a desk, so the calm comes back to the office with them.

Why companies need it, and why it works

  1. 41%

    feel stressed every day

Nearly half of employees worldwide felt a lot of stress during most of the previous day. Stress brings fatigue, mistakes and people leaving.

Gallup, State of the Global Workplace 2025

  2. 46.9%

of the day, the mind wanders

For almost half our waking hours the mind is somewhere else — and we are less happy when it is. Mindfulness trains the skill of coming back to the task in hand.

    Killingsworth & Gilbert, Science, 2010

  3. #1

    psychological safety

Google’s study of hundreds of teams found the strongest factor was feeling safe to speak up. A circle with no judgement is where that feeling starts.

    Google re:Work, Project Aristotle

  4. ♪

    singing bonds people fast

Oxford researchers found strangers who sang together bonded faster than groups doing crafts or creative writing. That is why yoga music meditation sits at the centre.

Activities

What can go into your programme

Mix and match. We choose the blend that suits your team and what you want everyone to take home.

  • People sitting on cushions around candles, meditating.

    Breathwork

A few minutes of conscious breathing to step out of stress and bring the whole room to one rhythm.

  • A group moving together in a garden under a large umbrella.

    Movement and mobility

Gentle movement for bodies that sit at screens all day. Everyone can join in.

  • Three people posing and laughing around a yellow bodyboard on the beach.

    Mindful games

Games about listening, trust and laughing together — nobody wins, nobody loses.

  • Someone holding up the painting they just made to show the group.

    Art and craft

Making something with your hands, together. A different way to talk that is not a meeting.

  • Three people playing a drum, a guitar and a harmonium in warm light, beside a mantra banner.

    Yoga music meditation

One voice sings a line, everyone sings it back. Shy at first, and a while later the whole room is one voice.

  • A person sitting cross-legged on a mat, holding a string of japa beads.

    Japa meditation

Softly repeating a mantra on a string of beads. The hands have something to do, and the mind finally goes quiet.

  • People lying down to rest on mats in a bright wooden pavilion.

    Yoga Nidra

Lie down and be guided, head to toe, into deep rest. The quickest way we know for a tired team to switch off.

  • People lying down to rest beside lanterns in the evening.

    Singing bowl sound bath

Lie back and let the long tones of the bowls fill the room. Nothing to do, nothing to get right.

  • A group of volunteers with the children at an orphan centre.

    Volunteering at an orphan centre

A morning of crafts and play with the children. Giving something together brings a team closer in a way no meeting can.

  • A group sitting on the floor around plates of vegetarian food, laughing.

    A shared vegetarian meal

Sitting down and eating together. Often the part people remember longest.

Formats

Choose the length that suits your team

  • A few hours

A mindful session at your place

Breathwork, yoga music meditation and a mindful game, at your office or a space nearby. Easy to fit in — after a big project or at the end of a quarter.

  • One day

A day away from the desk

Morning movement, art and craft, a vegetarian lunch together, then a closing yoga music meditation. Long enough for the team to truly slow down.

  • 2–3 days

    A trip to look within

A 2–3 day trip with a programme designed for you: movement, mindful games, art, meditation and shared meals. Each person reconnects with themselves, and the team with each other.

Q&A

Common questions

  • Nobody on our team has ever meditated. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Everything is guided step by step, and the programme is designed for complete beginners.

  • Is this religious?

The practice comes from the bhakti yoga tradition, and we say so openly. There is no lecture, and nobody is asked to believe or join anything.

  • How is this different from a usual team-building day?

Most team building is about competing or performing. Ours is about slowing down together: no winners, no stage, nobody put on the spot. People open up precisely because nothing is being tested.

  • Can you come to our office, or join an offsite we have already planned?

Yes. We can come to your office for a few hours, or fit a session into a conference or offsite you have already booked. We bring the instruments and take care of everything in the room.

  • How much does it cost?

Every programme is quoted on its own, by group size, length and place. The price comes with your proposal.
